Shop update 3/28

We are spent!

We have just been overwhelmed and we can't take anymore orders. We are currently at least two weeks behind due to the large volume of linen orders we've received post market. My daughter is coming this weekend to help process as many orders as possible as we will reasses on Monday. We humbly thank you for supporting our small business. This is the first time our shop has closed since it's opening and we hope you will understand this is to prevent frustration to our customers and because we need a light at the end of the tunnel. We appreciate your understanding. You can always reach us via email by using the contact form.

Young Bonnie Jean stitched this sampler which although contains no place name, one can indeed be fairly certain of her ethnicity being Scottish due to the revealing typically Scottish large alphabets with scrolling filigree, the various crowns, bright vibrant oranges, pinks, reds and greens, the little dogs, perhaps Scottish terriers, the stylized peacocks and overall layout of this charming, rather primitive sampler. Although Jean followed tradition with her motifs, her sampler was very original in color and choice of stitches, often changing midstream! The overall effect is charming and unique. Stitch Count 155 x 243 Charted with NPI silks in eighteen luscious colors, suggesting Hogbristle Linen by Fox and Rabbit Design to best match the original. Conversions for DMC, AVAS and Cosmo provided.
