The well known and loved scripture verse, “Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not for of such is the kingdom of heaven” was stitched by Annie Jones on her sampler and left unfinished in a year unknown. Four alphabets including the lovely scrolled center alphabets adorn this charming old sampler as does the sixteen still vibrant colors.
