Description
Pattern for an original sampler that centers around a sturdy farmhouse motif that was common in wool coverlets from the mid 1800's. The weavers of these coverlets were the Gilmour brothers from Indiana. Various floral motifs, urns, birds and the alphabet worked in shades of browns and blues is just the right compliment to the farmhouse. Design is worked on 36 count linen over 2 threads and finished in the medium size scalloped rectangular wooden tray. Stitch count - 195 x 135
