Seasons of the Heart

These four seasonal designs are all included in one pattern booklet. Each can stitch up in a good weekend of stitching. I love when a vision of an idea works! The end result and the addition of the little season tags are so fun! The booklet includes a page with the artwork for the seasonal sign tags and instructions to create them. It's super easy, and it only takes the images provided in the booklet, a piece of chipboard cardboard, some rubber cement, a small paper punch, and crochet cotton or pearl cotton to tie them on the pincushion. There are plenty of season tags provided in the booklet and even a choice of a chalkboard look or a wood-tone finish. These pincushions can be creatively displayed and surrounded with fun seasonal goodies. It's fun to create a vignette to enjoy for a few months and then switch out with the change of season.

All cross stitch is worked over two linen threads. In addition, two specialty stitches were used - Smyrna Cross and Straight Stitch.
