Regina had a very special eye for a soft and feminine color palette. I couldn't resist the temptation of this small sampler, it's beautiful! With just DMC floss I was able to reproduce Regina's soft colors pretty closely. The bird motif was too pretty not to do a bit more with. Using the antique sampler as my inspiration, I designed a small coordinating pincushion that is also included in the pattern booklet. The stitcher can personalize the pincushion with their own initials, or a loved one to personalize the finish.
All cross stitch is worked over two linen threads. No over one or specialty stitches are used in this chart.
