Pattern booklet for a collection of pincushions to celebrate our love of stitching, red samplers, the iconic tomato pincushion, and the sewing bird of the Victorian era. When displayed all together, this set of smalls makes a charming vignette. These are all quite small in size and fit in the palm of one's hand. This booklet is the same size/format as Jelly Bean Jubilee, Jack O Lantern Jubilee, and The Snowball booklets. Everyone is thoroughly enjoying these fun and quick little stitches. As always, I've included a favorite recipe and some history of these antique sewing accessories for some fun reading. Two designs from a few years past, I Collect and Queen of the Needle would be wonderful additions to this collection of smalls.
Stitches - mostly cross stitch over 2 linen threads. There is a very small amount of over one used in a couple of the tiny strawberry emeries. Specialty stitches - Straight Stitch. The addition of small beads is used for the heads of the straight pins.
Linen - 36 count, color - Vintage Country Mocha by Zweigart was used on all pincushions. A quarter yard of linen should be suitable for stitching and the backing of all the pincushions. Most stitchers will have scraps in their stash suitable for these!

Cross stitch pattern "Keeper of the Pins" by With Thy Needle and Thread
Really enjoyed the ease of shopping on-line at FarmGirlDryGoodsShop. I received my pattern safe and sound in a bubble lined mailing envelope in record time. I will continue to support small business such as this one. 5 STARS
