This little pin roll is a companion to Christmas in July and is part of an upcoming series I've dubbed "Sampler Sushi," but only because the finished product reminded me of the Japanese cuisine once I rolled it up. This is a very easy project designed to hold your needles and to be tossed into your stitching bag. No sewing machine is required, and all you need for the tie is some sort of ribbon, or baker's twine, as the model uses. The quote is by Benjamin Franklin.
Stitch count: 177w x 66h (which includes the dividing lines used for finishing into a pin roll)
Fabric used: 36 ct. Saltbush by Fox and Rabbit (distributed by Hoffman Dist. Co.)
Threads used: Classic Colorworks Sea Oats; Weeks Dye Works Mascara, Pelican Gray, and Whitewash; DMC 355, 936, and 3809.
