I can't decide what my favorite part of this design is- the postage stamp focal of the bird with a flower, the penny rug/shaker-ish border, or the hanging flowers… but why just have one favorite part, right?! When I look at this designs I have two immediate thoughts; first, I can't wait to see someone do a small with the postage stamp excerpt. Especially if they were to fill the background in with the gray/blue color that is scattered throughout this piece. I had hoped to do just that, but time got away from me, so I hope someone is up for the challenge and shares photos with me . Secondly, this color palette could easily be switched up to create an entirely different look if you don't enjoy an autumnal look. I can't wait to see that, too!
