The designs were stitched on 30 count Northern Cross natural linen with Classic Colorworks hand dyed thread and two Dm colors. At the time the models were sent out, the 30 count fabric was readily available. Since that time the US supplier has gone out of business and it will be more scarce to come by. However there are two other fabric counts to choose from that will give you close to the same results. You can choose either 28 or 32 count Natural Raw linen from Zweigart. The thread estimates for those two fabric counts are listed below.
Each design measure 63 stitches square. If you stitch all nine on one piece of fabric your stitch count will be 195 x 195 leaving three stitches between each block. With the free border it will measure 209 x 209 stitches. The size of your finish will be determined by your fabric choice. Done on 30 count linen the design without the border as a nine part set measures approximately* 13" square.
