Shop update 11/18/2024

Michelle is having surgery on Thursday so we will not be filling orders on Thursday and Friday. Orders will resume shipping on Monday.  

Fox and Rabbit "Saltbush" is in Chicago and working its way through customs. It arrived there on Saturday and we are so excited for it to get to Minnesota. It will be processed and shipped to you as soon as it arrives! 

With Thy Needle and Thread New Releases (kits only) - are shipping now. We expect to wrap up shipping tomorrow (Tuesday).

**Kit comes with 36 ct linen, threads, backing fabric, trim and a charm. Kit is only available in the traditional (lighter) colorway.  
 
A note from Paulett:
Aren't cardinals just the sweetest little songbirds? They are beautiful no matter the season, and the females are my very favorites. Even as a child, I remember thinking their soft brown feathers were the most beautiful color. When I designed this, I couldn't decide if I preferred the brighter, more traditional colors or the more Victorian-colored palette. So I've included both in the same chart! 
 
Stitch count: 54 w x 90h each
Fabric used: 36 ct Patriot's Brew by R&R was used on the more traditional version, while 36 ct. Winter Brew by R&R was used on the darker version (Cardinal Kin II). 
Threads used:
Traditional version - Weeks Dye Works in Mascara, Cayenne, and Grits; Classic Colorworks in Pea Pod; DMC in 642, 935, 3021, 3830, and 3778.
Darker Version (Cardinal Kin II) - Weeks Dye Works in Mascara, Crimson, and Parchment; Classic Colorworks in Pine Needles; DMC in 840, 935, 3021, 3858, and 3859.
Stitches used: Cross stitch over two threads, longstitch, backstitch, and some cross stitch over one thread.
