Cross stitch chart for the antique reproduction of the Ann Sandles sampler. The sampler is of Scottish origin and 13 year old Ann completed her last stitch on this lovely Adam & Eve sampler in the year 1846. The piece is worked over 2 threads on 30 count Iced Cappuccino linen by R&R Reproductions, using Gentle Arts flosses throughout. Verse reads - "Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongeth the trees". Chart is beautifully printed using color under symbol on large format pages...our samplers are big & easy on the eyes!
